Southwest travel funding is special low-fee, pre-reimbursed cash advance funds that are issued automatically when you receive a check for the Southwest flight you booked. Southwest airlines use the funds to pay for plane fares, additional deposits to the airline’s frequent flier program, hotels, rental cars, and other expenses. If you book a flight between Tuesday, April 13th and Thursday, May 3rd, you will be entitled to up to $1000 in funds. Even if you don’t book the flight, you can access the funds by contacting the lender by phone or online. Most lenders issue the funds within one business day. Southwest travel funding is not a credit card and does not have an annual fee.

Southwest airlines use pre-payment or post-payment discounts to encourage customers to continue using their cards. When you cancel a reservation using a credit card, you cannot refund the amount of the prepaid airfare. When you use funds provided by an airline’s frequent flier program, however, you can refund the amount of the ticket or part of it if you cancel your reservation.

To do this, call the customer service number on the airline several days before your scheduled departure date. You will need to provide the airline with your contact information and your reason for canceling the reservation. Only then will you be able to obtain your refund.

If you don’t want to wait to receive your funds, you can also apply for Southwest Rapid Points. Rapid points are like cash back or cash advance rewards that you earn based on the amount of unused funds you have in your account. To qualify for Rapid points, you must reserve a flight between Thursday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 5th.

To get approval for Southwest Rapid Point, you will need to provide the same information required for booking a flight between Thursday, May 3rd and Sunday, May 5th. You will need to provide your name, address and telephone number. Your confirmation number will also be required. To obtain your Rapid reward, simply call or visit the company’s website, and access the “My Account” section to determine which flights you can upgrade to.

When you view travel funds online, it is possible to track your reservation history, earn rewards, pay your balances, and view past transactions in one easy-to-navigate interface. To start, you will need to select “My Account” from the main menu of your choice, then scroll to the section marked” Reservations and Transcriptions”.

On the next page, you will see a graphic with two bars – one bar indicates the date and time of your reservation, while the other bar shows your reservation status (whether your reservation has been confirmed expired or canceled). The bar showing “Reservation Status” changes when the date and time of your reservation change. To view your next available reservation, click the bar opposite the one displaying “reservations and transcripts“.

When searching for a Rapid Reward, whether for a business trip, family vacation or any other reason, it is important to read the fine print. Be sure to look specifically for the terms “Canceled Trip” and “Canceled Ticket”. If a person books a Rapid Reward but receives a “Canceled Trip” as the reason, that person must contact the company before the travel date to make changes.

Some companies may allow up to one year to reschedule a reservation without receiving a “Canceled Trip” notice. Others require up to three years. If you are uncertain as to whether a company will allow you to reschedule your reservation, ask them directly.

When you find the link to “Book Now”, you will be taken to a secure web page where you can enter your credit card information. You will not see a link to a form for you to fill out until after you have completed your payment. Please note that you will not see your Southwest Rapid Reward total until after you have sent your payment. Once you click “Submit” a confirmation number will be emailed to you. The verification process is done by the credit card company on your behalf.

After clicking “Submit” on the last step, you will receive a confirmation number in your email. The number will be in the format of “Four digits” or” Seventy digits”. These numbers are used for identification purposes only. Do not give this number to a third party.
