How to Download Youtube Videos? (Full Tutorial): There are billions of hours of videos on YouTube. Really! This is not a very shocking statistic about the site that has been the destination for video upload and viewing since 2005.
Sometimes, you want or want one of those videos on your computer or phone. But when it comes to downloading YouTube videos, there is a must-see side theme: Is it legal?
Before copyright, as long as you download videos for your personal offline use, you’re fine.
“When you consider Google’s Terms of Service for YouTube, it is even more black and white, stating: “You are not allowed to access, reproduce, download, distribute, broadcast, display, sell, license, modify, or modify any part of the Service. Or exclude: those who are expressly authorized by the Service.”
Watching YouTube videos offline through unauthorized channels requires money from Google and video creators. There is a reason YouTube ads run: People live this way.

So, stealing videos from YouTube is a significant number. If you want to share video, creating YouTube and other video sites is easy, from embedding to sharing via social networks via email. You do not need to download videos anymore.
However, you have your reasons. If you need to download a YouTube video – for yourself, and streaming, and do not have a douche nose at all – here’s how.
Note: This story is frequently updated as the devices involved change regularly. Some of those changes are not always pleasant, as the software is full of “extras” that can be classified as malware by antivirus tools. This is done to support websites – changes in the site’s advertising network can also cause problems with malware.
To prevent the creation of a YouTube list of YouTube video download programs and sites, we have included some rules for inclusion. Services must include:
- Support 4K download even in the free version.
- Work with the first three video sites: YouTube, Facebook and Vimeo.
- Download the entire playlist or channel in batches (on YouTube) with at least one paid version.
- Output to MP3 for audio (or providing companion software to do so).
- Has an unobtrusive interface.
- Do not collect your data beyond your email address.
- Not malware. If there is even a hiss in the air, if there is even a PUP, it will be outside.
The programs, services and sites of this story are free from spam/viruses/issues in this work, but not a caveat ember—most of the time. Suppose you are not empty.

Third-party software that gives you the best control over downloading videos online. Generally, you paste the URL for the YouTube video you want in the program, and it will download the highest quality version you can find.
For videos in 1080p High Definition (HD) format, this is usually an MP4 file. For high quality – even 4K and 8K video – the file format is usually MKV.
In the past, YouTube videos were flash-based, so your download was an FLV file, but they would be hard to replay. MPEG, MPEG-4 Part 14 Short for Multimedia Format, Plays Everywhere
Note that the MKV file, also known as Matroska, is a container – the file contains the video using as many codecs as possible. The foolproof way to play them all is to use VLC Media Player for Windows, which plays everything. (Read about it below.) For downloaders, here are the best options.

I mentioned VLC Media Player above because it is an excellent tool to playback about any media that Windows users have yet created. It turns out, and it also can download YouTube videos in a complicated way. (If you encounter any problems with this, you will need to perform a full reinstall of VLC and clear your cache to perform this task.)
Copy the URL from the YouTube video and then open VLC. Select Open Network Stream (Ctrl + N) from the Media menu and paste in the URL. Click Play. While the video is playing, go to Tools> Codec Info. Below is a box called “Source” – the URL you searched for in that box.
Go back to your browser and paste in the URL – this is a temporary web address and will eventually end up in the address bar, and the video will start playing. When you watch videos in the browser, you will see the option to download the file to keep it local.
However, it looks like VLC is only going to save your file as 1080p, even though the original YouTube stream is available at 1440p or 2160p (aka 4K). It does not convert videos to other formats. To get those options, you need the desktop software below.
Multilingual 4K video download (4kvd) is frequently updated and includes clear download links on the program’s website; No statement here. The software promotes it in a simple interface: download quality 8K video and a variety of formats.
Copy the YouTube URL and click the Paste Link button to get started. 4KVD also includes subtitles, complete playlists and all videos on the channel you subscribed to. Supported sites are limited to big names like YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook and many more, but most of them are what you need. It displays a large banner ad to dim the lights.
During the exams, I had to switch from MP4 to MKV format to download my test videos in 4K. Three minutes duration for a 4kvd movie trailer, 229.7 megabytes (MB) file in 1 minute 20 seconds. 4KVD converts back to 1080p HD, so I made the same switch when downloading the Ultra High Definition (8K) playlist.
If you enable Smart Mode and its pre-set, 4K video download can be done in one click in any format you like. If you want to download more than 25 videos at once or subscribe to YouTube channels to download the latest updates, a paid version is required. The playback of the resulting MKV files by VLC Media Player is defective.
It is possible to collect audio in MP3 format within the program, so you do not even need MP3 companion software from 4K YouTube.
It claims to allow downloads of user-created content – including adult sites – from Digitized by Google’s multilingual WinX300+ sites. The argument that “there is no malware, adware, spyware or viruses. 100% clean” is probably the most significant selling point of all. It has a clean interface, but there are ads for WinX’s premium service when installing.
Copy the YouTube URL (also for the playlist) and launch the WinX software.
The “Analyzer” checks all options. This device attempted to default to the 1,920-by-8080 version of MP4; I chose the 4K version (2,840 pixels by 2,160 pixels) in the WebM format, a subset of the MKV format. You can convert.WEBM file to.MKV and it works well.
The settings have the default options for the web at the highest resolution. You can set several videos for backup before clicking the download button. The 4K 226.9MB file took 2 minutes 19 seconds to download.
There are no options to download closed captions. This is another strike. But WinX supports most download sites for this and does the price for nothing.
4. 5K Player
Completely free, much more than 5KPayer downloads – but it’s a heck of an integrated download. Promising any virus, ad or plug-in requirements is a good start. One of the things I tested was asking for your name and email registration – all you have to do is get the full download function on 300+ sites. However, you still caught 4K widgets without registration from YouTube.
While downloading, the program tries to hide certain things. Paste in the URL for the YouTube video and the analysis engine will run and show only a few download options.
Click on the gear icon, and then show all the buttons and scroll to see what a 4K 3,840-by-2,160 file looks like in web format. The 227MB, WebM trial, took about 6.5 minutes to download. It is possible to capture a playlist, but you must adjust the download settings for a video at once.
The confusing interface makes it difficult to return to other videos in the playlist.
The 5K player also has DLNA server playback so that the video you capture can be viewed on any device that supports DLNA, And it supports Airplay for quick playback for supported devices. Select a video in the library to quickly convert to MP4, MP3 or ACC (audio format preferred by iOS devices).
The player does not like to replay large 4K file, and experienced buffering issues (VLC has no problems with the same file). But in the end, from the price to the features, the 5K player is top-rated, especially if you look at them as extras in the download. But the interface and playback issues you can find elsewhere.
YouTubeByClick captures videos from over 40 sites. You can also use the “Dial” in the interface to set your preferred version (MP4 video or MP3 audio) before downloading first and the default download quality to the free version above 8K. It only takes 2.5 minutes to download a 229.6MB MKV file in 4K – which is not a bad thing considering the 2Mbps speed limit of the free version. You also need the premium version to download playlists and channels, make conversions, avoid ads and get closed captions.
All you can do on YouTubeByClick is to set the URL whenever you copy it from YouTube; then the program will auto-discover it and ask if you want to start downloading. Enter your account credentials to get instant private downloads to YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and some other foreign sites.

VidPaw provides standard features and is believed to work with over 1,000+ other sites. It does not offer large video/audio combo downloads from 720p MP4; If you wish, you can only find the video in 2160p WebM format. Add a “pa” to a URL (“www.youtubepaw.com“) at the end of “YouTube” so that you can run the wizard instantly while you’re on YouTube.
